I painted a majority of this piece while visiting Arches National Park in October, 2018. After floating down Cataract Canyon, I stayed in the desert for another few days and enjoyed some slick rock mountain biking. After a couple days on the surrounding trails, I took advantage of my dogless vacation and spent my rest day painting in front of delicate arch.
