This painting was painted in my tent, while we had to wait out the notoriously crazy Patagonian winds for a day. We hoped to do a 4 day circuit around Mount Huemul (which is sandwiched between a gorgeous valley and the glaciers of the Patagonian ice sheet), but were cut short on time due to the consistently strong winds. The photos shown are of the valley under Huemul (Mount Huemul would be photo left) and the Patagonian ice sheet that we hiked to see the next day.
