With a late season permit, three artists and I headed into the Enchantments for 5 days and 4 nights, with a shared goal of capturing the landscapes through painting. After hiking in some large pieces of watercolor paper, we spent a majority of our nights camped above Perfection Lake, with this incredible view of Prusik Peak. We all painted our brains out, despite the crazy fall winds, cold temps, rain and snow. And for the first time in a long time, I felt wildly at peace staying at camp from sunrise to sundown for days on end. We enjoyed each other’s company while sharing ideas and thoughts on art, business, and life in general. I feel overwhelmed with the inspiration that I got from the landscapes around me, but more so the creativity that I got from working side by side with other artists in such an incredible place.
