This piece was started on Sauer’s Mountain, looking out at the Stuart Range. I finished the watercolor portions on the hike, but when I started with acrylics, it was too hot and my colors were drying too quickly!! I finished it down by the river the next day. I feel wildly lucky and endlessly inspired by the incredible mountains that cover Washington State.
